The U.S.Congressional Serial Set, including the American State Papers, is a series of reports and documents published by Congress.  It's called the Serial Set because it was published in serial fashion... meaning that there are more than 15,000 volumes in this series now!

You can easily see if your library has all or part of the U.S. Serial Set Digital Collection by looking at the Advanced Search form.   Check the Limit To box in the middle of the page.  

Note:  Customers with the Congressional Indexes will find the indexing for the Serial Set in the two document types directly above the Serial Set.  For customers with a mix of indexing only and full text, check the links in the "How to Check..." (left).

Users can search the Serial Set (and any other materials subscribed to or purchased) through the Basic Search, the Advanced Search and the Search by Number forms. 

The Advanced Search form allows users to search within specific field of the indexing (right). 

Note:   the House & Senate Documents and the House & Senate Reports, both part of the Serial Set, are listed here separately to assist users who may have a citation to one of those document types and who may not know that these are included in the Serial Set.
