Legacy Usage Information

Your previously-issued ID/PW should still work.  Should it not work, first try to reset your password.  Should that not work, please contact ProQuest Customer Service (contact information in the page footer).  Ask for an ID/password for the GIS Legacy Usage Statistics.

Congressional - Updated March 15, 2013

For March 1, 2013 forward, usage information is now available in the ProQuest Administrator Module (PAM).   If you need help on how to check your statistics  in the PAM, use this document: “How to Check Your IP Ranges & Get Usage Information”

For October 3, 2012 - Feb. 28, 2013 (the interim migratory period) usage information has been emailed to individuals on our mailing lists (this email occurred March 15, 2013).  If you did not receive this information, and need a copy, please contact Customer Support (information in the left column) and ask for the "ProQuest Congressional Interim Usage Report."

About this interim data:  ProQuest has created  custom, one-time usage reports containing the total number of Congressional visits, page views (search page results), and page views (document pages) for each account.  Click here for more information on the interim data.

For data prior to October 2, 2012 use the Legacy System (see information and link for access in the left column).

Statistical Abstract of the U.S. -- updated 8/25/2014

Usage Reports for ProQuest Statistical Abstract of the U.S. (Updated 7/31/2013)

Beginning August 1, 2013, usage statistics (dating from 8/1/2013 forward) are available in the ProQuest Administrator Module (PAM).   If you need help on how to check your statistics in the PAM, use this document: “How to Check Your IP Ranges & Get Usage Information”

Beginning March 15, 2014  COUNTER guidelines were used for measuring usage, resulting in the following changes: 

  • Clicking to display the table is counted as displaying the abstract
  • Spreadsheet downloads are counted as multimedia
  • PDF download of the chapter is counted as the full-text download
  • Previews (mouseover to view the table) are not counted.
