You want to look up information on racism and the most recent results in this database for racism. You start by just searching for that term in the search box which will likely search anywhere in the record.
A better method might be to use the Advanced Search form to look up by Subject. You then put racism in the search box and limit to SU (subject) but this yields no results. The best option in this case is to use the Look up option for Subject so that you can see the exact term available for racism is race relations. You can then select that and do an exact subject search.
You can then sort by newest first and see what topics are coming up related to race relations currently. Narrowing to Company/organization can also yield specific results.
The Browse feature of Policy File Index is pretty straightforward in that it allows you to browse by Organization Type or by Political Leaning.
So, if you wanted to see what types of results are available in Security & Military organizations, you could select that and expand it to then select an individual organization such as Institute for Science and International Security.
