PressReader: Printing

Access to more than 6,000 newspapers and magazine worldwide

Printing from an article

(See image below)

Use the dot grid menu at the upper right of an article and select print.

  • Print as Text will print as a text format (similar to a Word document) with the image if there is one.  This will often print in more pages than you'd anticipate.
  • Print as Image converts the article into an image mirroring what you'd see in the actual print version of the paper or magazine.  This creates a more "true to the original" print of the article.
  • Print Custom Area will allow you to select which part of the article you'd like to print.  This is not necessary for smaller articles, but is helpful for images only or when you want part of the whole.  (You will drag a cropping tool around what you want to print then say Print in the upper right corner of PressReader).
  • Print Page is similar to Print as Image as you get the entire page as it looks in the print version.

Printing from full page

(See image below)

Use the dot grid menu at the upper right of an article and select print.  Two options are available for printing from the full page:

  • Print Custom Area will allow you to select which part of the article you'd like to print.  This is not necessary for smaller articles, but is helpful for images only or when you want part of the whole.  (You will drag a cropping tool around what you want to print then say Print in the upper right corner of PressReader).
  • Print Page is similar to Print as Image as you get the entire page as it looks in the print version.

NOTE:  It is often hard to get the dot grid menu to show from the upper left corner of the full page view. You may need to zoom in to the page to see this.  You also will need to be hovering over the headline at times for this menu to stay visible.
