The Interactive Image Viewer is the default viewer for all images. The viewer also has special features for specific collections such as the 1940 US Federal Census and the 1911 UK Census!

When you switch from the Interactive viewer, the Advanced viewer is the default, unless the computer in use does not have Flash installed. The Advanced viewer is based on Adobe Flash, allowing it to work on the majority of browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and others). In addition to the above listed options, the following are available in the Advanced viewer:
