Set Up

Are you a district or school setting up access for the first time? The first step is to register for access using the link below.

Once access is granted, users can access the products using the links listed on the left of this page. Please note that each district has a custom URL for Schools & Educators Complete. Additionally, users should create personal accounts to utilize the features in this resource. The flyer below has additional information and may be distributed:

After your school registers for access, you will receive a welcome letter from ProQuest Customer Service. This letter will contain login information (Access Name & Access Code) that can be distributed to students for off-campus access. If you are unsure about your Access Name or Access Code, contact

Off-Campus Access

When you register for ProQuest access, you will be asked to provide your school or district's IP ranges. This will authenticate users onsite. For off-campus access, you will need to provide students with the Access Name and Access Code provided to you by customer service. Please contact Customer Service if you have registered for access but do not know this information.

The following URLs prompt students to enter login information, and may be promoted on your website for off-campus use:

SIRS Discoverer:

SIRS Issues Research:

ProQuest Central:

ProQuest Research Companion:

Please note that Schools & Educators Complete is not listed because users will need to create personal accounts for off-site access.

Access Note: Your school or district's Access Name and Access Code may be a string of letters and numbers that are difficult to remember. To add an additional Access Name and Access Code, administrators can log into the ProQuest Administrator Module or contact Customer Support to create one for them.

Customizable Bookmarks:

In the welcome letter sent to your district contacts, ProQuest provided login information (Access Name and Access Code) that can be distributed to students. Please contact (include your district name in the email) for the remote login information.  Use that information to fill in the information on the customizable bookmark, below.  Then print it and hand it out to your students!

Clever Logins:

You can create ProQuest hyperlinks to your Clever Portal and push them out to teachers/students! Here is an article that explains how:

Please note - this doesn't authenticate users, but it does make users aware that the resources exist.
