If you think you're going to be using the same searches or legislative histories several times, it may be worth your while to create a profile to save searches or individual documents. For a quick overview of some of the features, see the Creating a Profile tab.
Search results show the legislative histories associated with the search term. Click on the title to see the legislative history (below).
Just under the search box with your search term is an ability to search within your search results.
Filtering results by publication type allows you to see, for example, only hearings with the search term.
Or filter results by Congress or coverage dates.
Finally, underneath the date filters, there are subject term filters that include Subject Terms, Area of Practice, and Source (committee name, etc).
Click on the PDF icon on the right to create a PDF version of the legislative history document.
Notice also you can save your search results to your profile.
