U.K. Parliamentary Papers

In addition to searching for content based on a subject or known content, it is also possible to browse the collections to expose all content in a given time period.  The example on this page explains the process.

Browsing from Advanced Search page

Let’s say that we are interested in browsing the 18th Century House of Commons Sessional Papers for the years 1772-1773.

The steps are:

  • Go to the Advanced Search Form
  • Select just that Century/Collection
  • Click Search (you can do this without entering any text into the search box).

Click here to view the result of this browsing.

Working with Results from Browsing

From within the results page, we can sort by Volume and Page (earliest or latest first) and that will put the results in order.

Also consider using the filters on the left side to further limit your search results.

Use My Research to save your results for later use.
