Topic Pages are created by our editorial team, and provide an overview and contextual information about a topic.  You can view relevant background reports, hearings representing viewpoints on that topic, news articles, bills, laws, and more.  A description of featured events and relevant source documents are also provided.

Read a high level overview of a topic, with links to relevant documents used in preparing the overview.

Background Reports

Important background reports, such as CRS Reports and GAO Reports are available, and provide analysis, research, and background information.

 

Viewpoints

Find perspectives and views on the topic documented in the oral and written testimony from witnesses during a Congressional Hearing, or from other sources.
